If something was "present in all versions" of SSLeay, or if it was added to a version of SSLeay (and therefore predates OpenSSL), remove mention of it. Documentation history now starts with OpenSSL. CMS_final() finalises the structure B<cms>. It's purpose is to perform any

processed. The B<dcont> parameter contains a BIO to write content to after
|
|
processing: this is only used with detached data and will usually be set to
|
|
NULL.
