d17bdfc26d Fix intermittent Windows and Cygwin failures in s_server
The same kind of failure that has already been observed on the
s_client can sometimes also be observed on s_server, so we need to add
the same kind of 50ms delay as was previously added on s_client.

27da42d852 Fix intermittent Cygwin failures in s_client
This was identified for Windows almost two years ago for VC and
msys/mingw. It seems that Cygwin suffers from the same issue, and
since Cygwin doesn't define OPENSSL_SYS_WINDOWS, we need to make a
special case to have a 50ms pause before closing the TLS connection.

fd6a0f5e52 Clarify error for unrecognized arguments.
Many of the sub-commands under apps/ accept cipher or digest arguments like
"-sha256". These are implemented using a catchall flag that runs the result
through opt_md() or opt_cipher(). That means any unrecognized flag, including
typos, gets sent to those two functions, producing confusing error messages like
below:

    $ ./apps/openssl req -x590
    req: Unrecognized digest x590
    req: Use -help for summary.

This change switches these two functions to say "Unrecognized flag X" instead.
The new message deliberately leaves off the "-" from the flag name, because
there are some cases where opt_md() and opt_cipher() are passed a flag value
instead (for instance, openssl ca -md). I think the new message is generic
enough that it can serve both cases with improved clarity.

Since the server is entitled to reject our session our ClientHello

to happen. Therefore we shouldn't use the session as a source of
information for setting SNI.

bac6abe18d Allow an endpoint to read the alert data before closing the socket
If an alert gets sent and then we close the connection immediately with
data still in the input buffer then a TCP-RST gets sent. Some OSs
immediately abandon data in their input buffer if a TCP-RST is received -
meaning the alert data itself gets ditched. Sending a TCP-FIN before the
TCP-RST seems to avoid this.

This was causing test failures in MSYS2 builds.

8530039a30 Fix double array increment in s_client mysql connect
The packet parsing code for the server version string was incrementing
the array index twice on every iteration. This meant that strings with
an even number of characters would pass, but strings with an odd number
(ex: 5.7.18-0ubuntu0.16.04.1) would cause the pos variable to get out
of sync.

This would cause a later failure with "MySQL packet is broken."

729ef85611 s_client accepts host/port as positional argument.
This allows the user to provide the target host and optional port to
openssl s_client as an optional positional argument, rather than as the
argument to the -connect flag. This rationalises the user experience of
s_client: given that the only logical purpose of s_client is to connect
to a host, it is difficult to understand why there is an (effectively
mandatory) command option to pass to make that happen.

This patch forbids providing *both* -connect and the positional
argument, because it would likely be too difficult to reconcile.
Otherwise, using the positional argument behaves exactly the same as
using -connect does.

720b6cbe4a Avoid failing s_server when client's psk_identity is unexpected
s_server has traditionally been very brittle in PSK mode. If the
client offered any PSK identity other than "Client_identity" s_server
would simply abort.

This is breakage for breakage's sake, and unlike most other parts of
s_server, which tend to allow more flexible connections.

This change accomplishes two things:

 * when the client's psk_identity does *not* match the identity
expected by the server, just warn, don't fail.

 * allow the server to expect instead a different psk_identity from
   the client besides "Client_identity"

0e83981d61 Fix srp app missing NULL termination with password callback
The password_callback() function does not necessarily NULL terminate
the password buffer, the caller must use the returned length but the
srp app uses this function as if it was doing NULL termination.

This made the -passin and -passout options of "openssl srp"
fail inexpicably and randomly or even crash.

Fixed by enlarging the buffer by one, so that the maximum password length
remains unchanged, and adding NULL termination upon return.

068e3d73ce Fix an s_server infinite loop
Commit c4666bfa changed s_server so that it asked libssl rather than the
underlying socket whether an error is retryable or not on the basis that
libssl has more information. That is true unfortunately the method used
was wrong - it only checks libssl's own internal state rather than both
libssl and the BIO. Should use SSL_get_error() instead.

This issue can cause an infinite loop because some errors could appear as
retryable when in fact they are not.

12557a3445 Fix s_client early data indicator
s_client was always saying that early_data was rejected even when it was
accepted. This was because it was using the wrong test to detect the end
of the handshake. It was using SSL_in_init() which only tells you whether
it is currently processing/sending/expecting handshake messages. It should
use SSL_is_init_finished() which tells you that no handshake messages are
being processed/sent/expected AND we have completed the handshake. In the
early data case we are not processing/sending handshake messages and we
are expecting early data (not a handshake message) - but the handshake has
not yet completed.

2ac915f162 In apps/rehash.c, decorate the inclusion of internal/o_dir.h for VMS
The library files are built with symbol names as is, while the
application is built with the default uppercase-all-symbols mode.
That's fine for public APIs, because we have __DECC_INCLUDE_PROLOGUE.H
and __DECC_INCLUDE_EPILOGUE.H automatically telling the compiler how
to treat the public header files. However, we don't have the same
setup for internal library APIs, since they are usually only used by
the libraries.

Because apps/rehash.c uses a library internal header file, we have to
surround that inclusion with the same kind of pragmas found in
__DECC_INCLUDE_PROLOGUE.H and __DECC_INCLUDE_EPILOGUE.H, or we get
unresolved symbols when building no-shared.

d42d0a4dc7 Implementation of the ARIA cipher as described in RFC 5794.
This implementation is written in endian agnostic C code. No attempt
at providing machine specific assembly code has been made. This
implementation expands the evptests by including the test cases from
RFC 5794 and ARIA official site rather than providing an individual
test case. Support for ARIA has been integrated into the command line
applications, but not TLS. Implemented modes are CBC, CFB1, CFB8,
CFB128, CTR, ECB and OFB128.
